BODHA - Modern Wellness

I first stumbled upon Bohda with thanks to my beautiful friends, Lotte & Lia-Belle of Worn Store.

Foundered by Emily L'Ami in 2014, Bodha is the expression of her lifelong study and fascination with ritual & scent - a collection of therapeutic perfumery products for you and your home. My first, an treasured still, Bohda acquisition was my Aromatherapy Eye-Pillow (of which I have not slept a night without since.)

Completely enchanted by Bodha's mantra - Come Back To Your Self - my love affair with Emily's collection of objects and products that elevate everyday experiences is one I hold so close to my heart.

Every morning and every evening I burn Bodha Incense in my own home - at present, Calm in the AM and Ground in the PM. I am hard pressed to find a ritual that keeps my head, heart and home in a state of harmony as much as this.

As Emily so eloquently articulates, I will leave you with her words on the four rituals which her practice and products both embody and emit...

"Rituals bring a sense of comfort & ceremony to our life, acting as touchstones in a week or a day. Their power lies in their simplicity and ability to make changes at the subconscious level. By integrating Bodha's four rituals for living well you'll notice subtle shifts towards a sense of calm creative confidence rooted in an unwavering inner strength."

1. Purify

Where all rituals for living well begin - Purify.
Clear away the old & make space for the new. Shine a cleansing light and let go.
Body brushing, saunas, warm lemon & water - getting rid of things that don't bring you joy- the smell of sunlight and fresh flowers.

2. Refresh

Where rituals for living well lead - Refresh.
Bringing new energy to new beginnings. A fresh flow of inspiration, creativity & vitality.
Swims in the sea, exercise - cucumber eye-masks & fresh plants - the smell of rosemary and mint.

3. Ground

The foundation for all rituals for living well - Ground.
A sense of connection to your inner universe. Strong, steady & unwavering.
The feel of wood & stone - time alone, yoga - the smell of trees and the earth.

4. Calm

The final ritual for living well - Calm.
Anxiety and stress drop away. A warm sense of inner peace falls over you.
Meditation, baths & cups of tea - reading in bed - the smell of lavender & fresh sheets.
