Items On Rotation .01

— By Lauren Trend

To know me is to know how much I love to try new things, collect new ideas and share them. I’m a self confessed creature of habit but every now and again slight updates are made by way of choice or universal happenstance.

I thought to keep you all in the loop of the things I’m currently loving, in a streamlined fashion, with a new series on the site called ‘on rotation.’

Enjoy — and please let me know what things are on your current rotation! I love learning what keeps you inspired and grounded.

  1. BULY 1803 Cleansing Milk

Lucy brought me this for my birthday and upon first impression I thought it was a cleansing milk for the bath. But I’ve been using it to clean my face at the end of the day, and Its been really really nice..

  2. F.MILLER Lip Balm

I’m not really a massive lib balm applicator, but this one has the right amount of moisture without leaving too much residue, if that’s a thing? Often when I wear lip balms my skin around my mouth feels super congested and I’m scared it’s going to make me break out. This one doesn’t do that - thank god.

  3. BYREDO Bibliothèque Candle

I’m more often than not pretty loyal to fragrances and candles. We typically burn Dyptique’s 34 Boulevard Saint Germain Candle but recently we’ve been burning Bibliothèque and it’s been such a nice marker of freshness. I like that its scent will always remind me of this time in my life.

  4. Vintage Arne Jacobsen Coffee and Tea Set
Last week I came across what might be my most notable op shop (thrift store) find to date. I handed over $8 AUD for an Arne Jacobsen for Stelton Coffee and Tea set, in pristine condition. You just have to browse 1st Dibs for a split second to know that its worth much, much (!!) more than that. Right before finding it — I was asking for the Universe to present me with abundance. I had dollar signs in my bank account in mind, but finding this was the perfect reminder that abundance can be manifested in manifold ways.

  5. Breathwrk App

I’ve been using it three times a day for guided daily breath work sessions and it’s truly been such a life changer. We’re currently in the process of potentially moving house (again!) so it’s the calm amongst the storm I absolutely need. We also shared what else we’re using in 2020 here, if you’re moving away from apps that are distracting and toward the more mindful.

  6. KYE Intimates Ikebana Bra

Those who wear bras i’m sure can relate to the fact that you almost always, no matter how many you have, gravitate towards one ! And when that one is in the wash - in your head.. you have none! In my house — it’s known as THE bra. And my THE bra is KYE’s Ikebana Bra. It’s so comfortable and breathable and the straps are placed in the perfect spot so they don’t slip down your shoulder. Can not recommend this mindfully and sustainably produced garment, enough!

  7. DEIJI Studios Robe 02

I’ve lived in it all summer long. As soon as I’m home its on me. The most comfortable, breathable and wearable thing I perhaps own. Pyjamas, forever.
