An Immune Boosting Broth Recipe

We need all the help we can get at the moment. Below we are sharing Lauren’s Immune Boosting Broth.


YOU’LL NEED —


  • A large pot

  • 1 Onion, cut in half

  • I Bulb of Garlic

  • 2 Carrots

  • 3 Stalks of Celery

  • Small bunch of parsley

  • Knob of ginger

  • 4 Bay leaves

  • 1 Lemon, cut in quarters

  • 1.5 letres of boiling water

  • 2 tbs oil

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 tbs peppercorns



METHOD —

Place all ingredients in the bottom of the pot. Pour over boiling water, and add oil and salt. Bring to the boil. Simmer gently for 1 hour. Let cool, then drain well.
