MODULE 2 - What’s happening now? Understanding current beliefs, patterns and practices.

Understanding how things have been in the past is an essential ingredient to understanding our current circumstances, patterns, beliefs and behaviours. The way in which we began to navigate the world through our relationships with our bodies is unquestionably influenced, often subconsciously, by our earliest experiences.

In MODULE 1 - we reflected upon “then”

In MODULE 2 - we focus on “now”

Remember, you are not what has happened to you. Let the past propel, not define you.

You have the power and ability to begin again, today and every day. Remember. It’s practice.

Let’s begin.

Sit with and answer at length, the following questions.

  • How do you feel in your body today?

  • How have you felt in your body this week?

  • How have you felt in your body this year? Are there big variances between months? If so - can you identify why this might be?

  • How has your experience in your body shifted over the past year, two years, five years, ten years.

  • What makes you feel powerful in your body?

  • What makes you feel soft in your body?

  • What makes you feel at home in your body?

  • What makes you feel alive in your body?

  • Who do you trust to be intimate with your physical body?

  • How would you describe your posture?

  • Where in your body do you harbour trauma? If in multiple places; list and expand upon them. Can you identify the hurt being held in various parts of your physical self?

  • What parts of your body are ‘problem’ parts for you, mentally?

  • What parts of your body are ‘problem’ parts for you, physically?

  • List the current practices that you partake in that are for the benefit of your physical / emotional body:
